Runaway, Terrorist, Prisoner, Student, President, South African, Free Nelson Mandela challenged the status quo in many ways weather it was done politically, socially, or personally, in order to achieve such high goals Mandela paid many great personal expenses. Before the acts of Nelson Mandela, the country of South Africa was broken; it was plunged in a deep racism with the election in 1948. This exemplified his true defiance of apartheid, that he was willing to corrupt his values to achieve a goal. Nelson Mandela did not follow the status quo by any means during these years of his life. His trial also exemplifies how he did not follow the status quo. He tried to use his trial to fight apartheid but this argument did not abide so well with the white judge who was appointed by the 1948 administration. Faith, like prejudice, is an enemy of reason, yet if the power of reason to enquire important answers to fundamental questions has been demonstrated in the western tradition since Plato, faith, which remains today a prominent global force manifested in religion, too, holds a function in logical enquiry. Faith is to hold a conviction void of actual evidence, yet Reason needs faith in order to function, it is faith that is linked to the imagination and hypothesis for enquiry. Humans are not machines, which can function on reason alone, and thus, to eradicate faith would be to eradicate a evolutionary flaw in the human makeup. The visibility was not clear and crewmembers landed the plane on Boeing runway which was closed for repairing. So, this accident took place due to the miscommunication. The report was few months ago published and was not given to the pilot. As the result, the takeoff process was on the wrong runway. When the pilot tries to take off the flight the aircraft collided with heavy equipment and broke apart. Many passengers who are seated in the middle of the plane were killed when the fuel in the wings exploded. Total 83 passengers died out of 179 on board including four crewmembers (Lim, 2017). This accident has given negative impact on the image of the company. The customers think twice before booking their seats in the Singapore airlines (Zhang et al., 2016).
